2026 Ranked Quarterback Prospects
2026 Ranked Quarterback Prospects
Fernando Mendoza, Indiana | Pro Comp: Sam Bradford
Pocket passer with scrambling upside if all else fails. Very accurate passes, both in and out of the pocket. Rarely throws an inaccurate pass when targeting receivers in the flat. Has frequently showcased ability to place the ball equally well on majority of route archetypes.
Not the greatest at identifying the blitz before the snap, leading to sacks. Also struggles to mislead defenders with his eyes to help open up options downfield.
Draft Projection - Top 5 | Draft Talent - Late Round 1 | Height - 6'5" | Weight - 225 LBS
Dante Moore, Oregon | Pro Comp: Russell Wilson
Pocket passer who can run a bootleg, and scramble for a first in open field but would not see designed QB runs. Fairly accurate downfield passer with the ability to layer balls over defenders. Steady in the pocket, and can throw accurately under pressure.
Doesn't have high end NFL caliber arm strength, enough to succeed in the league but passes clearly float in the air. Slight deep ball accuracy problems on top of that. Very raw prospect with very little college starting experience.
Draft Projection - Top 5 | Draft Talent - Early Day 2 | Height - 6'3" | Weight - 205 LBS
Trinidad Chambliss, Ole Miss | Pro Comp: Baker Mayfield
Fairly mobile player who can create something when there appears to be nothing. Very good zip on passes and can seemingly throw anywhere on the field, even when moving outside the pocket. Arguably the best deep ball accuracy in the class. Sneaky manipulator of eyes, can quickly fire into a tight window.
Older prospect, with little D1 starting experience, though incredible seasons with Ferris State. Smaller frame, may spell slight trouble in the NFL. Sometimes dangerous with the ball, not being afraid to throw into closing windows.
Draft Projection - Mid Day 2 | Draft Talent - Early Day 2 | Height - 6'1" | Weight - 200 LBS
Ty Simpson, Alabama | Pro Comp: Mitchell Trubisky
Impressive athlete with a tall frame. Near the top of the class in terms of reading defenses. Quick footwork on drop backs with an efficient throwing motion. Knows how to navigate the pocket fairly well.
Very inconsistent power on throws. Floats it when he should bullet it, and bullets it when he should lob it. Already questionable accuracy gets worse when on the move. Slender frame that may not hold up at the next level.
Draft Projection - Mid Day 2 | Draft Talent - Late Day 2 | Height - 6'2" | Weight - 208 LBS
Cade Klubnik, Clemson | Pro Comp: Will Levis
Good size and frame, as well as enough speed to put defenses on alert. Good enough throwing motion to get the ball out quickly. High caliber arm strength to get the ball downfield.
Four year starter, has taken significant steps backwards in a QB friendly system. Consistently inconsistent accuracy all around the field. Poor ability to read a defense in any sense, leading him to stare down a single receiver and force ill-advised throws. Mediocre career stats against quality teams.
Draft Projection - Mid-Late Day 3 | Draft Talent - Late Day 3 | Height - 6'0" | Weight - 220 LBS
Jalon Daniels, Kansas | Pro Comp: Kyler Murray
Very mobile player who can run away from pressure with ease, and is not afraid to take a hit. Along with mobility, throw accuracy doesn't waiver much on the run. Strong arm that can place the ball anywhere on the field.
Mediocre accuracy that has not improved significantly throughout college career. Has a severe case of happy feet, on the move as soon as the ball is snapped. On top of poor pocket presence, struggles with very slow and outdated style of footwork.
Draft Projection - Late Day 3/UDFA | Draft Talent - UDFA | Height - 6'0" | Weight - 220 LBS
